About Ron
Ron is a 41 year old guy living in South Florida. He lives there with his wife and two kids - Pickle the Cat and Mookie the Dog.
Born in New York, Ron has lived in South Florida since he was 10. He has gone to school there, worked there, and lived most of his life there. He’s been in South Florida during times of change and upheaval. He was there for the riots of the 80’s, the change of South Beach from a quiet retirement area to a global hot spot, the Miami River Cops scandal, Hurricane Andrew in ‘92, the addition of professional hockey and baseball to the area, and just about everything else that has happened to this growing metropolis.
For the last 10 years, Ron has been travelling the world as part of his job in the high tech industry. This Blog is a collection of his thought, experiences, and general ramblings as he travels the globe and lives his life in the chaos that is South Florida.

We were thinking about moving to Marco Island/Naples area…we have visited several times and love it. Where are you located?

Due East from there. I live in Fort Lauderdale. Naples is a beautiful area. I was there earlier in the year for my sister-in-laws wedding. It had been a long time since I had been on that coast. Forgot how nice it is.
