“Is this Wrong???”
Is it wrong when you hail a cab in Dublin, open up the boot to put your bags in and you see a 4-pack of Guiness sitting back there.

(Read the post below first) OK, fast forward about three weeks from the time of the previous post. It’s the end of September; a month since the British terror sting. I’m back in Fort Lauderdale airport. There’s a few more 8×10 Xeroxed pages scotch taped to the walls, columns, and counters but not much else. (more…)
Let me open by saying that I know there are a lot of hard working TSA people out there and I salute them and appreciate everything they do (to borrow an SCCA phrase “Thanks Workers!!!”). You’ve been kind, courteous and respectful and you make a sometimes trying ordeal bearable.
There’s also a group of not so wonderful TSA people out there supposedly to protect us and guide us through the airport security process. You’re a rude, arrogant, and cranky bunch of people. To all of you I say, “I’ll have fries with that burger.” <hint, hint> (more…)
It seems like the day after I started this blog, I’ve been on the run and haven’t had a chance to catch my breath. There’s always something going on. So far this year, (year??? Yeah right, try this summer) I have been to Australia, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Ireland (x2), and England. That’s a lot of time, in a lot of planes, in a lot of hotels, and in a lot of airports. Now that I think about it, it’s also a lot of
One of those trips were self inflicted, the rest were work related. I like visiting new places and try and take advantage of the opportunity and “soak in the local culture.” But, it can wear you out. I know my wife is happy that I’m done for the year. Well, except for a trip to Orlando for work. :-O But, after all of this traveling, a three hour drive to Orlando is a piece of cake. And, my wife will be joining me.
Anyway, here’s a few items that I wanted to mention as I have … (see posts above). Oh, I do have happy thoughts, two of the items above are just fresh on my mind and tend to make me rather cranky. I realy am generally a happy person.
I came across this article this morning on MSNBC’s “Red Tape Chronicles” site. It’s a column (are there really columns anymore??? If you can post a comment to something, does that make it a blog???) run by Bob Sullivan. He covers Internet scams and consumer fraud for MSNBC.com.
The article talks about a web site that “outs” deceptive advertising and tells you the true story behind all of that fine print, or mouseprint as it is apparently called.
