So I was out in Albuquerque for Thanksgiving visiting my wife (she’s going to school out there don’t you know).
We decided to take a ride to the top of the Sandia Mountains on the Sandia Peak Tramway.
As it says on the website, it is “…the world’s longest aerial tramway…” that “… transports you above deep canyons and breathtaking terrain a distance of 2.7 miles“
So here we are riding the tram up the mountain and pass through a snowy coud bank. We see the other tram appear through the clouds. As the cable car got closer, we noticed smething a little odd about the tram.
Click on the picture to see more. It’s a maintenance guy on the roof. He was doing some tower maintenance and riding the trams to move from tower to tower. Pretty wild. That guy must have been freezing. It was 20 degrees outside and it was just a little windy.
I thought I would only see things like this on Dirty Jobs…
